This is a list of companies that have signed Local and National term Agreements with Local 481 and the IATSE in all areas of motion picture production. In all cases Individual members have a right to negotiate better terms and conditions than those in the agreement and are NOT permitted to negotiate any terms or conditions LESS that what is in the agreements. With National term Agreements, the Local 481 Business Manager has no role in negotiating terms or rates different than what's in the contract.

PLEASE NOTE: While every effort is made to keep the following lists current, some of the lists may not reflect recent additions or deletions, this is particularly true of the national term signatories.

COMMERCIALS

FEATURE FILMS & TELEVISION

1. THEATRICAL AND TELEVISION MOTION PICTURE AREA STANDARDS AGREEMENT OF 2001

The following companies are signatories to the Area Standards Agreement ("The Majors Term Deal"). All major studios and most producers of feature films and television programming have signed this national agreement. This Agreement applies to feature film productions with budgets over $7 million.

2.IATSE NATIONAL LOW BUDGET THEATRICAL AGREEMENT

This national term agreement applies to feature film productions with budgets from $0 to $7 million with wage rates commensurate with the budget. Please note that productions with budgets less than $1 million will have wage rates that are set by individual negotiation.
