Piracy Hurts All of Us -

Beware Fraudulent Web Sites

The IATSE has taken a leadership role with our sister unions and the AFL-CIO to fight the illegal use and distribution of copyrighted digital media & intellectual property: the very motion picture products we all work so hard to produce. Illegal sales of our motion picture products literally takes money away from us when projects don't get produced and when royalty payments to our funds are not made.

Many on-line sites illegally sell this material (motion pictures, music, etc.) and their sites often look legitimate, fooling the public into believing the are doing nothing wrong.

NH AFL-CIO Labor Education Committee
  One $1,000 scholarship
  Deadline 4pm Wednesday August 4, 2010
  This is a 750-1,000 word essay on a labor topic. Not just for dependent children, this scholarship is awarded to Members in Good Standing of affiliate unions (Local 481 is affiliated), their spouse, their children, their stepchildren or legal wards.
