Anthem/Empire Cyber Breach

You probably have heard about a data breach at the Anthem Inc in the last couple of days. The healthcare provider for the National Benefit Funds is Empire BCBS which is a subsidiary of Anthem, Inc.
In response to questions regarding the Anthem Cyber Attack yesterday, Empire BCBS has provided this letter and FAQ’s.
All Plan participants will be receiving a copy of this via US mail directly from Empire. They expect to be mailing it within the next few days. In addition, all participants who have registered on the National Benefit Funds’ website and who are currently enrolled in Plan A or Plan C will receive these via e-mail from the the National Benefit Funds directly.
Anthem has created a dedicated website (www.AnthemFacts.com) where you and other members can access information such as frequently asked questions and answers and a telephone number that members can call 1-877-263-7995.
